Biography

Bryan Acton is a current post-doctoral research associate at Durham Business school (UK). He is an incoming assistant professor of Organizational Behavior/Leadership at Binghamton University School of Management. He received his PhD in Industrial/Organizational psychology from Virginia Tech (USA). His interests include adopting novel statistical modeling techniques for studying leadership including agent-based computational modeling, as well as using machine learning to classify leadership items. He is also interested in studying leadership using complexity theory, by unpacking both the core elements and processes mechanisms that underlie collective leadership.
