Biography

Kevin is Professor in Leadership in the University of Sydney Business School. Prior to Sydney he was the Fletcher Building Employee Education Trust Chair in Leadership at the University of Auckland and the Burlington Industries Excellence Professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to academia Kevin worked in a variety of financial/strategic planning and forecasting roles.

Kevin currently serves as Editor of The Leadership Quarterly, the leading journal in the field of leadership. His research has garnered several awards including two Article of the Decade and two Best Paper of the Year Awards. Kevin is actively involved in the design and delivery of leadership development program both as a consultant and through the Executive Education offerings of Sydney University.

Kevin sits on the Boards of the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management and the International Leadership Association. He also serves on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council and is an Executive Panelist of the McKinsey Quarterly.
